John brings a vast background of sales experience to XSM. He attended both Joliet Junior College and Governors State University, in addition to attending numerous seminars and classes dealing with Sales, Government Procurement, Marketing and Business Development over the past several years. He worked as a sales manager for a major home builder in the Chicago area and also owned an Aurelio's Pizza franchise.

He maintains a Real Estate license and is Broker/Owner of American Real Estate Consultants. He worked concurrently for several years in the residential mortgage business as a senior loan consultant.

He is a US Army and Vietnam veteran. After completing military duty, he worked in the trades for a number of years, including union jobs as a Laborer, Teamster and Pipefitter while attending night school.

A lifelong musician, he played bass and guitar and sang lead and backup vocals with several bands over the past 30 years.

John and his wife, Ann, have been married for 10 years. He has two sons, a stepdaughter and three grandchildren. He is a life member of VFW Post 1493 in Frankfort attends Parkview Community Church.
